I love the book and the movie! I liked the movie's ending better, because there's a sequel to the book that I didn't like... With how the movie ended, there can be no sequel (or at least one that's different then the book)...

Theres a sequal to the Notebook? whats it called? what happens in it?
I like both a lot, the book was amazing because you get to read the emotions and what they are going through and I liked how it wasnt one of those books that starts at the beginning and works its way one day at a time to the ending, we were able to see the moments they spent together through flashbacks and to read how they felt about those moments many years later. The movie as well was awesome because of the actors and the chemistry between them and also because it showed a lot of the early years and added a few very beautiful scenes. __________________

It's called "The Wedding". It focuses on Noah's son and his failing marriage. His daughter is getting married and he takes the opportunity to plan the wedding and show to his wife that he still loves her. Noah helps him. He also believes Allie has become a swan, so it ties with the imagery of the swans/birds in the movie.

That sounds like an interesting story I would have liked to hear more about their kids in The Notebook
She's become a swan? so is she dead in the sequal? __________________

Yes, she died. I got mixed up though...it's about Noah's son in law, not his son, who is the main character. You should read it.

Nah, that just makes you cold. I'm kidding. I've seen 'The Notebook' so many times, that now I don't cry anymore, but the first few times always got to me. Same with AWTR. I love both of those movies so much.

I remember when I was little, I cried at certain Disney movies. Like when Simba's dad died in The Lion King.
