It was not part - as expected - of the Venice lineup. I think the next festival we have to keep an eye on is New York, Tribeca and maybe also AFI.

VFX (visual effects) has finished:

And IMDB now lists the movie as "completed" (I assume based on the fact that the running time has been announced)

The New York Film Festival announced it's main slate yesterday and sadly no Disobedience. I have to admit I was expecting it would be but it's still possible it get's selected for another programming part of their selection. It's going to be interesting to see which USA festival will select it and have the US premiere of the movie. Unless it only goes to TIFF, of course.

I was also thinking the other day that it might screen at Berlinale in February, and be the European premiere for the movie. That way the March UK release makes more sense to me.

True, I hope it will turn into an audience favorite at TIFF and that will lead to more fall festivals, including AFI which always seems like a good festival to start an Oscar campaign.
