I just saw this movie last night and thought it was great

Verry funny, and I really liked Rach's character of Claire.

Her family was psycho.

I love the bit at her sisters wedding with their vowes and Claire couldn't help but laugh.

Did the bike riding scene remind anyone else of TNB?

I would've never thought that she would be the one laughing at the wedding.

But yeah she seemed the like the only sane one in the family.

Grandma was so kooky. Claire's brother....was woah. Mother was, um, bizarre. And Gloria was friggin' hilarious.

I loved how John predicted her speech wouldn't work and how she ended up using his definition of true love.

The blank stares she got from her sister and her mom were worth it though.

Saw the movie today, and I loved it. While I don't normally like the "straight" characters of comedies, Claire was such a sweet, funny woman and I could see why John was falling for her. I was afraid her character would end up being too bland in a film full of loonies, but I was pleasantly surprised, because Claire Cleavy was just awesome. And Rachel's performance was terrific, I felt so bad for her when Clarie was picking out the flowers for her wedding with her father and then just kind of broke down.

I also loved Vince and Isla, they were terrific.

And Will Ferrel's cameo will be sending him to hell, I am sure.

But yes, loved the movie. I want to see it again now.

I laughed out when they were at the Cleary dinner table and their grandma kept calling Claire's brother a homo, and Claire's like, "Grandma, you're not supposed to say that!"

Glad you liked the movie Jack! Yes...Will Farrell's cameo was just priceless. He was awesome for all the wrong reasons.

Chaz was awesome. But I didn't like the grandma, I found her character to be very...cliche. You know, the foul-mouthed grandma who's in pretty much every comedy. Blah. Didn't like the "homo" brother either, but I think I'm just holding a grudge 'cause he's Thomas from Lost! The Bastard!
