Hee, welcome back Katie.

I'm with everyone else, it would have been interesting to see how Allie grew from the time she chose Noah to when she started to develop her illness. Maybe seeing Noah and Allie's wedding would have been a really nice touch too. Although, the last scene where you see Allie and her suitcase in front of Noah's house fitted the movie perfectly and I liked how the movie ended.

I couldn't agree more Belle! I would have loved to see more of younger Noah and Allie once Allie came back to Noah. Even though we didn't get to see it, I really liked how they ended the story of them as their younger selves in the movie.

Yeah, or seeing an engagement would have been a good touch

Imagine the chemistry they would have added to an engagement scene or wedding

I do, however, agree that the ending they used for younger Allie/Noah was perfect Allie had finally made her decision between Lon & Noah, and she knew who her true love was andt hat she needed to come back to him

I think that in the beggining Lon reminded her of Noah so she didn't think of him constantly while with Lon because they are quite different but he was definitley on her mind.
