| When In Rome #5: We have a release date.. so can we have the trailer now?
"WHEN IN ROME STEAL SOMETHING AND RUN HOME” Release Date: August 7th 2009
Kristen Bell plays Beth, a successful-but-single curator at the Guggenheim museum in New York City who flies out to Rome for her sister's impulsive wedding.
When in Rome, Beth picks up coins from the "fountain of love" and soon finds a quintet of suitors waiting for her back home!
Is it a blessing, or a curse? In real life, Rome’s largest fountain is 250 years old, collects approximately $4,700 a day, and supposedly ensures marriage to anyone who throws coins into it. “Rome” will play off that local legend.
"There's literally four or five of us competing for the prize," explains Josh, "and for me it's more fun that way; it's less predictable."
Throughout the course of the movie, those seven people who threw [those coins] in there, wishing for various things, start stalking [my character] and fall in love with her,” laughed Bell, who’ll be making her first trip to Rome for the shoot.
“There is a fantasy and magical element to it, and she doesn’t understand why all these people keep showing up with flowers.
They’re outside her door, they’re starting to stalk her, and she doesn’t get it.
Finally, when the male lead starts to pursue her, she feels as though it’s just because of this curse.”
"When in Rome," a film that Mark Steven Johnson will direct from his own script for Disney.
Kristen Bell: “I’m so excited to be working with Mark Steven Johnson, I can’t even tell you. I respect his body of work so much.”
Spider-Man 3 composer Christopher Young has been hired to compose the music for When in Rome, a romantic comedy.
The film results in a break from Young's otherwise action and horror dominated schedule - his other upcoming films include Drag Me to Hell and The Uninvited.

(JOAN) She’ll play Bell’s younger sister who’s getting married on a whim.
DAX SHEPARD ( " The Comebacks " " Baby Mama " ) He will play a self-absorbed suitor who falls under the spell and chases the girl.
The funny thing was he also said that he's working out like a madman for his role.
Supposedly, he's running around without a shirt the entire time.  ANJELICA HUSTON ( " Medium " )
(JIMMY SUE/SUSAN MUNCEY) She will play Bell's boss, the curator of the Guggenheim.

(STACY HARPER) Beth's quirky assistant at the Guggenheim, and her confidante as well,
Stacy helps Beth with all her complicated tasks, but doesn't appear to have Beth's profound grasp of art history.
