I should be..KB even has my (well, Jason's!) grape scratch n' sniff stickers!

My only concern with the movie is that I really want my L/V happy ending. The fear is that there is symmetry to them going back to the, 'life's a bitch and then you die', from the pilot, but I don't want Veronica fulfilling that prophecy. I want her to be wrong and find out that while 'life can be a bitch, but you can still find happiness.'

If L/V aren't happy at the end, then it would put it on par with what I consider the worst movie of all time, Pay It Forward, where the kid dies at the end and it's basically, 'You can make a difference, but life is still a bitch and then you die!'

I do think Rob believes in happy endings though! *crosses fingers and toes anyway*

Yeah, I mean the reason I loved the VM finale so much was that the ending was very melancholy and fit the tone of the show, but at the same time I still wanted to know everyone ended up happy

and I don't think they'd do a movie without a happy ending. There aren't many movies that don't get a happy ending, unless unhappiness is the point, heh. I think Rob would want Veronica in a good place when he really wrapped it up forever.

I agree with your thoughts on the finale. If there's one thing we've learned from the show is that not everything it's rainbows and butterflies and thus the ending was fitting. The movie makes me nervous because happy endings seem weird for this show heh, but also it'll make it a lot more final. I liked the openendness of the finale because it left a lot of avenues to wonder what could happen next and to me it was never completely over.
