Honestly though...how sad do you think they'd be? They'd think it was a relief (for her and them!) I think what shows they love Sadie, even though she is a burden is that they weren't like, 'She keeps pooping on the floor, you (the shelter) need to take her back' and a lot of people would have said it's too much and they couldn't deal.

Dax and KB may get pissed off at her and complain, but it's not like Sadie's an outside only dog or they gave her up!

I bitch and complain about my dog all the time now that he's 18 and he has accidents in the house sometimes, but as much as I may complain that he drives me batty, I wouldn't give him up for the world!

I actually have more respect for KB and Dax, because at least with my dog, I've had him for sixteen out of his 18+ yrs, so the trial he can be now is balanced out by everything else.

They've only had Sadie for 4 yrs and she's always pooped in KB's house, so there weren't really any 'well, she didn't used to do 'x' or 'y', we should be tolerant now' type years!

I do think she does love her! She never said she didn't...just that she didn't always like her. I would have been more appropriate to say that she loved Sadie, just not Sadie's behavior or errm, the toxic gases and also 'presents' that she leaves in the house.

Well we know she loves her really but I don't think she put it across the best way she could in that interview it just kind of sounded like she got her because she thought she was going to die quickly but now she's stuck with this total mess of a dog and her and Dax are just waiting for her to die which I'm sure isn't the case, and she's just exagerrating for the funny factor, but I don't think it came across very well

i have a 16 year old black lab that survived Hurricane Katrina and im quite positive is a vampire umm cuz there is really nothing that can set her back. She has no teeth and that doesnt seem to bother her. She still inhales everything around the house. And I have two corgi mutts from the East Valley pound in Los Angeles

it's pretty ridiculous how serious some people are taking that quote, and saying that she has no respect for dogs when she's like a cheerleader for the good treatment of animals! i totally get where she's coming from though. i love my dog more than anything, but she's such hard work that i don't like her most of the time!

Its like that fish you win from the fair that ends up not dying after a week she just wasn't expecting to have a third dog for so long, she thought she was taking her in to just give her a good home for the last little bit of her life. And a dog with that many problems has got to be a huge pain in the ass to take care of. It doesn't mean she doesn't love her.
