What are your favourite tv opening credits? And do you hate that shows barely have them anymore?

I'll go with Californication because of the sheer catchiness of the song, or Dead Like Me because it's just cool.

I don't think a show necessarily has to have a long opening sequence, though.

Dead Like Me's is awesome

I love a good opening sequence.. HBO/Showtime always have the best ones. Dexter is probably my all-time favourite just because of the concept of it and how it reflects what the show is about.. but Six Feet Under, True Blood, Big Love all have great ones too.

Ohhh and Skins, that one's really original and pretty.
