He definitely couldn't, there was way too much unfinished between them for Piz to have a real shot. All Veronica was thinking after that was about Logan, I don't see how there's any denying that.

I avoided it like the plague

and I tend to be quite weird when it comes to Logan/Veronica, in that when someone is insulting Veronica in regard to their relationship I'll start insulting Logan to prove that he's no saint either, and then I do the same with Veronica when people insult Logan. And because people insulted both, I just confused myself and it was best to just not bother

I ended up only reading the posts of the people I knew thought like me and were positive about stuff, heh. Especially in the spoiler thread, that was the worst.

S3 was when I started avoiding TWoP. It's only healthy in moderation. The spoiler thread was aweful. I remember deciding not to bother with the forum after the preview for the ep where Veronica stays in Wallace's room and Piz shows up. *shakes head*

It still makes me sad to remember how negative the fandom turned. Especially since it obviously happens to most shows after S3.

Most shows do kinda fizzle after a few seasons.

So we can conclude that when you write scripts for tv, you should make a grand plan for three seasons and then quit.

Something like that. But if your fandom is too invested they usually get restless after the first season, so even that won't help much.
