Hee...if Kristen gave you 'puppy eyes' and said 'Please', you'd hand over that puppy in a heartbeat!

I was actually thinking of adopting a pony or something for her in her name/honor. There are a lot of Shetland pony rescue groups in England and Wales and I figured she'd love the idea

I guess INF is hard to get hold of seeing as that Kristen/Baby/Puppy pic was never posted in HQ either.

Maybe we consider that for next time as a group thing? We could adopt several ponies! It's only $15 UK/$30US a year, although it may be a little more, depending on the pony, not sure..

k, I'll organize it when it gets around time to it, but you need to remind me! HEE! It's going to be so hard to think of new things for Jason (and hopefully Francis) as well. It helps that all of them have charity type stuff and interests that they support.

Adopting a pony for her is an awesome idea! Very original. I'm sure she'll love it. And will get less messy and hard to hand over than the puppy.

Yes, it will also definitely avoid that 'I want the puppy...No, I want the puppy!' tug of wars....

ETA: We probably wouldn't be the only ones either...then they'd also be, "Look, the puppy loves UNCLE RYAN the best! Puppy wants UNCLE RYAN AND AUNT AMY to be his Mommy and Daddy!' and you know...then there would be fisticuffs, hair pulling (although that would probably be the puppy) and it would just be a total mess!

Especially since you know...we'll just give a picture of the pony (or ponies) and a link to the website!

Uncle Ryan. Heeee. We know how fierce Ryan and Kristen can get so I doubt it would stop at hair pulling. They'd probably organize a running charades to find out who'll get the puppy.

A picture is much safer. Because I wouldn't mind giving her the puppy, but I wouldn't be able to give her the pony. Same way I wouldn't be able to give her NHL trading cards. (I'm still so jealous about that gift!)

Hee! Yeah, she seemed to really love that one! I got her a Chris Osgood action figure, but I didn't bring it with me to England, after she couldn't make it.

Yes, it took me forever to find as it's from 1998 Redwings team thingy. It also has his Starting Line Up trading card.

I can look for a Sidney Crosby one if you want!
