Well we made big fuss out of Francis joining, so I had no idea if others didn't too.

Yeah, we're happy, but I think we know better than to cheer about it beforehand, given how people reacted to KB's character, before she was even on the show! Plus, Francis did audition for the role, etc! But the backlash towards KB is why I haven't started a Jesse thread on the Heroes TWoP board yet and why I'll wait until he actually appears on the show!

Good idea with waiting with the thread! The backlash against KB was totally unjustified. As if she could control how much advertisment NBC and Kring do about her. *shakes head* I actually had to stay away from TWOP for a while. It was the same reaction people had to Piz and Parker on the VM forums. I didn't get that one either, back then.

ETA: I just hope if he ends up going to Comic Con, that people won't start what they started when KB showed up at the Emmy's.

We love Francis, yes we do!

Stupid question, but when is the scheduled premiere of the 2.5th season?

The backlash was so weird. I always figured they were jaelous of her in a way. Most of them had to admit she was awesome though, by the second ep that she was onscreen.

Yeah, I think they were jealous that all of a sudden some 'newbie' character was BFF with the cast. Zach was hysterical about it in that one interview when he was like, 'You're a new character and I'm an old character and we can't be seen together!' *squishes Zach*

Heroes Premiere should be September 22nd, last I heard!

I don't think they will about Comic-Con. She's been part of the cast for a year now and will be part of S3 which is what they will be talking about. So she deserves to be there. Whereas I think people were funny about her being at the Emmys because they were nominated for the first season, which she wasn't a part of, Kristin's interview with her and some of the other cast just turned into her talking about Kristen's new role, and she got to sit in the front row.

But it was just stupid because David Anders was there too and no-one complained about him, it's just that there were no pics taken of him

and she went as Masi's date, so.. blame Masi

heh.

I loved when those EW interviews came out and they confirmed that Zach/Kristen and Zach/Hayden had been friends for so long, and then Masi talked about how everyone had a crush on her on Ellen.. I bet it really pissed off the people who were all like "Ugh, Kristen is so fake trying to act like she's BFFs with them all!"

I actually meant that I hope there is no backlash against Francis if he happens to go to Comic Con even though he's not been on screen yet. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

Yeah the backlash was very weird. I'm pretty sure it was jealousy and kind of fueled by the 'We hate Kristen' club. Plus David got interviewed that night too. Gah, I still remember that time. I loved how they all turned around and started loving her by the second ep she was on!

Zach and Masi are awesome! How long has Kristen known Masi btw? Did they meet before Heroes?

I barely ever go on TWOP though, so maybe that's how I missed it? That's so annoying though, but I'm still not surprised

Hee, oh! I still don't think there will be though, because Comic-Con is talking about the season ahead, which he is going to be part of. Dania was at last year's

she even went on the Heroes World Tour and no-one made a fuss, heh.

I definitely think they knew each other before Heroes. I think some-one mentioned that, but I'm not sure? In Unmasked when Greg Beeman was talking about her reasons for wanting to join he said something like "She's old friends with Hayden, she's pals with Masi, she hangs out with Zach all the time..." so that makes it sound like she did!

ETA: Yeah Siobhan, it was mostly TWOP, heh. I really don't think it will be the same with Francis, because there's going to be nowhere near the amount of media attention on him as there was on Kristen joining.

I didn't even know Dania went to the World Tour and to CC last year.

Yeah, I thought they meant that in the Unmasked. Still it's so unspecific. I want to know when and how they met!

Yeah, it was mainly on TWoP, but then it came out that KB has known both Zach and Hayden for 10 years, Masi for a few years, Milo for at least a year (as he was at KB's 'Red is for Emmy party'), etc and it was just that her friendship with them wasn't in the spotlight previously, because she wasn't on the show. So after that, it calmed down, when people weren't getting pissy because they thought this 'newbie' was trying to force her way to be part of the 'in' group and getting publicity, rather than them inviting her along and her already being part of their group!

I don't think it will be the same with Francis at all, because I think Heroes has also learned not to 'over-hype' new characters, because it causes people to resent them without even seeing or hearing about their storyline yet.

I kept picturing Hayden, Zach and Milo on KB's couch, watching Little Britain and then one of them going...'No, no...I'll get the popcorn, after all you saved our show for us!'

Of course...KB would respond with, 'STFU, I didn't write the article! But make sure you put butter on the popcorn!'

...Needless to say, a popcorn fight, dogs barking and pandemonium would ensue that point...leaving everyone very....buttery.

Hee, they totally would have teased her about it. The stupid thing is that people seemed to resent Kristen for that, when she'd probably find it absolutely ridiculous for someone to say she saved the show, heh. It's not like she came in all "Wow, this show is crap, it really needs my magic touch!"

You have to tell us what happened in Unmasked.

As to the first part. Is it bad that I kind of squealed when I saw that because I agree with it?

However, I also cringed, because I knew fans wouldn't react to it well. It's as if after S3 there would have been articles that Chris Lowell or Paul Rudd saved the show.

Heee, Popcorn fight! Adrian is not doing enough videos for my taste if he keeps missing popcorn fights.

That totally should be in their reality show
