Our picture thread is about to explode because of these two! Notice that this is not an appreciation thread. That means that ALL opinions are welcome here. That does NOT mean that you have free reign to act like an ass. No name calling, no personal jabs, etc. Tread lightly, guys.

And just a note, things are a bit hectic for me at the moment. I'm doing the best I can to keep my eye on things, but I'm not on Fan Forum 24/7 and sometimes I miss things. If things get out of hand or you want to bring something to my attention, don't be too shy to pm me.

Oh, and if you want me to change the title, just give me a different one. It was the first thing that popped into my head.

It is obvious to me that Dax has a history of using the women he dates to obtain a few minutes of page one news where he would not ordinarily, based on his talent and star appeal, be newsworthy.

Can anyone confirm this mugshot as being Dax ? Does anyone know the crime he was guilty of ?

Well it's circulating around the internet as a photo of him. I can't tell the difference really. A google images search brings this shot up as Dax. If it's not Dax then who is it I wonder ?

I can't believe you guys are so upset over who Kristen choses to date, it's her personal life and since you don't know the guy I think you really don't have that much right to say about if he is good for her or not. As long as she is happy you should be.

Just some random guy who had the misfortune of looking a little like Dax and living in the same city as this person. As for google images, they search for all terms on a page, and since the guy in the picture is called a "Dax Shepard look alike", google will pick it up.

Eh, as long as she's not sneaking around with my husband I don't really care who she dates. Dax makes my skin crawl, but I'm not the one who has to deal with him, so it all works out.

Well thanks for your input.

As long as she is a public figure and the details are in the public, and I have to read about it on google news, I'm certainly going to have an opinion.

And since Dax is a public figure who has a public personality that has clearly been detailed in the press and in his work then I guess I can actually have an opinion based entirely on the facts Dax has chosen to publicly display.

So far Dax has displayed that he has tendencies to act like someone with very low morals and is willing to do whatever it takes to get his name in the spotlight.

And since free speech in America is constitutionally protected, well of course I am going to exercise my right.

Just like everyone can.

I'm merely stating my opinion of Dax's actions and demeanor in the public eye. I didn't realize there were taboo subjects here at the fan forum. Should everyone stick to safe and bubblegum topics and be all fake ? Who does that benefit ? This forum is about the details, the nitty gritty, and the dirt on celebrities. They are of course here to entertain us. When they stop entertaining and start annoying then that's a sign it's maybe time to move on. Perhaps one day I will leave here and on ebay there will be a huge Kristen Bell memorabilia sale. Maybe not. It all depends on how this Dax thing goes. I know I just can't sit back and see day after day of Dax groping Kristen in public, that's gonna get real old real quick. Maybe if he showed her and her fans a little respect then he might get some back. Until then I personally think he lacks any class and tact. And I will let my opinion be known.

Everyone is acting like they have never had an opinion about who someone in the spotlight is dating. Look at football, everyone is talking about Romo and Simpson. Look at Jamie Lynn Spears - everyone is talking about her baby's daddy. Look at the news on any given night - the entertainment news is full of articles and opinions about who is datng who. Heck, look at those people who are your immediate family and friends, chances are you have opinions about who is dating who. The very nature of humans is to be concerned about other humans. Without care and compassion for your fellow man we might as well be monkeys flinging poo at each other.

I don't know if that is Dax in that mugshot. He has a face that I cannot study simply because he freaks me out! But didn't he do a film about jail? Maybe it's a promo shot from it although it really does not look like one! Just a thought.

Echoing what was said by Sam, try not to let things get out of hand. It's one thing having an opinion about a person but try not to let things get nasty! I'm also just a PM away, and now that the holidays are over things shouldn't be as hectic.

On the subject of Dax. Kristen is dating him so she must have some sort of spark with him, no? And yes as a celebrity who they date is in the public eye but I don't think we should really get that worked up about who she is dating, it is her life after all. Comment on it - negatively or positively - but don't get worked up!

I don't think the mugshot is Dax either, it doesn't really look that much like him. heh.

Well the silvercrystal is right, if Kristen is dating him there must be some charm to him that Kristen finds appealing. Of course it's obviously his sense of humor that must be attracting her, and I'm positive that after the sad breakup of Kevin and Kristen and the whole "I'll never date again" statement Kristen made last month she is sad and lonely and in need of comfort.

Enter Dax.

I'm not really worked up over this myself, more worked up about people telling me not to have an opinion than anything else. Also, I don't like my words being misconstrued, because that's not cool, but whatever. That will happen sometimes...

I guess that mugshot may not be Dax, I have no idea myself. I was just asking because it popped up under a search for his name, and honestly it looks like him. is it him, I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if Dax had been arrested for something at some point. It's a real mugshot, it's no promo, that much I'm sure.

Well I have made my point and people can decide what they want. I don't have much more to say until I see more of Dax groping Kristen in public, because really, that's just wrong and disrespects your partner. I'm sure Dax is in 7th heaven right about now, but that doesn't mean like a baby he needs to show me the mess he made in his diapers.

This is not an Anti-thread, it's a discussion thread. It's here for people to say what they feel they must (good or bad) and keep it out of other threads (so those of us who don't want to read about Kristen's relationship with Dax in every single thread don't have to and people won't find themselves locked in an unwanted debate). If people can't control themselves and it gets out of hand, we'll try something else.
