You're not the only one Holly. I'm slightly annoyed too.

Fellow organisers, Anita commented on Kirsty's LJ with a great idea for if Ryan comes. We could give him the book/gifts/donation receipt along with a last minute project for him. They're still roomies, right? So he can give it to her!

If Ryan came it would definitely be good to give it to him, even if they're not still living together, he'll obviously still see her when she gets back to L.A

and he'd appreciate the donation too.

It'll just be risky if we send it through mail, because I know a lot of actors have said they don't even recieve half the fan stuff that gets sent to them, so there's no gaurantee she'll even get it. But seeing as it's a package they'd obviously open it before passing it onto her anyway, in case it's a bomb or a severed head or something

so hopefully if they saw what it was, they'd give it to her.

So now that Ryan is coming we're still doing the book for BoB? Because I'm pretty sure the people who were going to give their stuff to me stopped working on their submissions once KB cancelled. (I have stopped working on them too.)

I can still finish my submission for the book, but I would kind of feel weird giving him the pillow, so I'll just not finish that. Everyone ok with that?

I also have Ryan's agent's contact info. I can email him to ask if it's okay to give the book to him? But I think Ryan will gladly take it with him.

Yup, I'll make an update saying that we'll carry on with the book and just give it to Ryan

We'll have to do something for him too though, it'll feel weird if we give him something to give to Kristen and not anything for him

I might have enough stuff to make a page for Ryan too. But we'll have to buy a smaller book, because there won't be enough time to get anyone else but people who actually attend the con to decorate it, I'm afraid.

Didn't I say the exact same thing when I dreamt about Ryan coming to BoB and us doing a special gift for him? Why couldn't I have also dreamt she would cancel, than I would have been more prepared.

Do you have snail mail or e-mail, Mandy? Because if it's e-mail you could send him one to ask if it would be alright.

Heh, everyone ignored my pillow question.

We culd just bring a baggy (a nice one) an ask people to bring their letters/gifts for Ryan and meet up with us at a certain time in the Thistle lobby to put it in the bag?

And maybe we could make the KB charity project the KB and RH charity project? If that's okay with you girls? If so, I'll go and post about that in the coms and mu own journal .

That sounds good to me! I wouldn't really have enough time to put together two books in a week anyway

and yeah, I think doing the charity thing in both of their names would be good

if we update about it, we could tell people that if they want to write a letter to Ryan then we can print it off and bring it with us. I don't mind just printing them off and putting them in enveloeps, and bringing them with me.

Th eemailing stuff to us and printing it is a good idea. I was thinking we could only let people who are there give us stuff, but your idea is even better!

Ok. Hopefully I'll do the stuff tomorrow or on Thursday. I'll try to get in touch with the other guys who wanted to give me stuff and see if they are still doing something.

What's the Francis project going to be?

I'm LJ illiterate so I'm not doing the update.

I'm only working till 12/1 tomorrow so I'll finish up my stuff by then!

Also we're over the 300 post mark on this thread, but...since BB isn't that far off I'll leave it open so we don't have to set up a new one with everything we've discussed in here. So try not to spam this thread

but do we know what exactly Anita is doing with the Francis thing? Because I want to mention that in the update too, but I don't know if she wants to update about ther herself or not..
