There's a couple Kristen mentions in the magazines this week.
Entertainment Weekly "Tart but perky, cute but tough, sarcastic yet secretly nice, Bell's Veronica is one of the coolest high schoolers in prime time, and her genuine fondness for her dad (Enrico Colantoni) makes for the best father-daughter relationship on TV." Kristen also won the EW.com poll for the never-nominated lead actress that deserves her first Emmy nod? The results were: Kristen Bell - 35% Marcia Cross - 26% Felicity Huffman - 17% Patricia Arquette - 11% Kathryn Morris - 11% US Weekly Kristen was named a breakout TV actor in the ‘Who Will Be Hot In 2006?’ article (goes along with the Biography special). Some things from the article: people stop Kristen on the street, but instead of asking if she’s the girl from Veronica Mars they ask her ‘Are you a celebrity?' or ‘Do you know my sister?;’ Kristen is 24, from Michigan, and dating producer Kevin Mann; two Kristen movies that are hitting theaters soon, Deepwater and Fifty Pills. __________________

This is all good exposure for VM and KB. I hope the movies she's making this summer will be big hits, maybe bring in better ratings for the show.

I cannot wait for the DVD to come out. I want to rewatch the whole season from episode one to the end to see how much everything changed. Anyone have an idea on the release date?

EW has an article called "Dear Emmy Voters" about people who should be nominated...
Kristen is of course in the drama actress category. Her picture is with Zach Braff's and Lauren Graham's on the first page, and the drama actress blurb is... Wait. Just realized someone already posted it. Whoops. |
