I have been informed that sadly Kristen Bell is no longer able to attend BREAKOUT BEYOND. Her filming schedule on the film she is currently working on, WHEN IN ROME, sadly conflicts with the event and as a result of this work commitment she has had to cancel her appearance.

I am working on trying to bring Ms Bell to the UK at a future date.

I have been in contact with various other VM cast members over the past few months, so should be able to arrange a replacement guest within the next day or so.

I can appreciate that many will be dissapointed by this unfortionate turn of events, but unfortionately cancelations due to work is a risk each time I book a big name guest for an event (and in the past few months Kristen has become extremely in demand as an actress). However, I am committed to presenting an excellent VM guest line up, and will endeavour to find replacements from VM that ensures all attendees still have an excellent time at the event.

As we always clearly advertise, guests commit to attending conventions subject to their acting work commitments. This means that if they get a role in a film or TV series that conflicts with the convention, they will have to cancel their appearance at the convention. They are actors first and foremost, and it would be unreasonable to expect them to jeopardise their acting career to attend a convention.

With the possibility of a SAG strike stating on June 30th they probably have to film 24/7 to make sure they wrap the movie before that.

That is such a shame for all of those who were going along to see Kristen.

If you were one of them, I'm sorry and big hugs go out to you. However, I don't doubt that she'll make it up to the UK fans in the future though.

I know 99% of people are just annoyed by Kristin, but I love her KB fangirling, hee.
