House of Lies Season 2 Review “The Runner Stumbles” | TV Equals

I thought it was a pretty awesome episode.
probably had something to do with the amount of kb on it. but it really did feel pretty solid. the marty jeannie interactions really are played very well. don and kristen work incredibly well together and are able to feed off of each other. the scene with them walking and jeannie putting her hand over his heart was quite perfect.

also loved that marty played the game with the porno, he was excited, then didn't watch it, except he then secretly watched it. and she transcended the genre

There really didn't feel like much need for any guest stars this episode. Lisa was a bit wasted really.

everything took a back seat to marty and jeannie and their interactions, which it seems are finally moving forward (after treading water for a bit) as we head into the back end of the season.

i must be honest, i felt the beat down at the end was out of place...
i guess it will serve some sort of purpose moving forward... perhaps becoming the catalyst for something else, but at this point it just feels a bit forced and random.

bring on Kaan and associates. (including Jeannie Bean)

it was a great ep

the sex tape stuff and everyone walking out on it "i have.. to make up.. an excuse.. to leave"

i really enjoyed jeannie and marty's interaction this ep.. when she put her hand over his heart, that was pretty major

i really liked the way marty's speech was shot. and him trying to branch out on his own could make for a really good s3

the end of the ep was kinda random but just have to see how it's played out in the next ep

enjoyed the recap on the plane as well.

i think a season 3 of him on his own (with jeannie bean) would be pretty exciting to watch.

and malcolm didnt bother me in the other ep but he is getting more and more obnoxious

the sex tape stuff was awesome! i like how she gets marti's approval at the end. the whole getting beat up and looks like marti enjoyed it was a bit too much for me. yea things arent going his way. it did give marti dilemma for the next episode
