| OK, how long am I in the Hot seat??? I still don't know how these things work soooo, here it comes! How old are you I'm 19 and in two days ( on wednesday ) I'll turn 20. Where are you from? I'm from Nice, a beautiful city in the extreme south east of France. I actually live in Villefranche sur mer, a small town just 3 km away from Nice. When and where were you born I was born on the 21th of September, 1985, in Nice at the Sainte-Geneviève hospital Where would you like to live Tough question. I guess I've been lucky so far 'cause I love the place where I live...BUT if I had to choose another city, I'd settle down in Barcelone because it's a gorgeous city, very european and downright cool  Then I'd love to live in NYC : been there once ( and I am coming back there in 10 days) and fell in love with this place. It's sooo huge but at the same time, it's not scary and there are so many things to do there *sigh* and that's about it.. NO, wait, I've been to Mauritius and it ROCKS!!!!!! except for the storms sometimes As you can see, I like cities but sometimes, I seek isolation from the world and in this case, I'd go somewhere in the Alps 'cause I love mountains, you can walk for hours without seeing anybody and it's wonderful.... and that's about it for tonight!!!! __________________ Claire Icon by Laura4lad1 @ LJ | |||

| OK, so next round of question : Your favorite painter I have a total soft spot for Cocteau. I love anything by him The painting, the sculptures, everything. It touches me, I don't know how to explain it better... When I look at his paintings, something inside me ignites.. I don't know, it's just something inside me :shurg: And it doesn't help that my former school was named J.Cocteau Your favorite musician Jimi Hendrix. THE myth, nothing else to add I'm in transe whenever I turn up the sound The things this man could do with a guitar... it's just not humanly possible which further proves the point of him being a god-like entity The quality you most admire in a man That's a very hard question... I don't know if I can pick ONE quality but if I had to do it, it'd be perseverance ( can you say that in english? ) I like driven persons. I love a person that has a goal in life and stick to it and dedicate time to realise his dreams. I like when a man knows where he's going, what he's doing and things like that. That an a good dose of humour. I don't like men who take themselves wayyyyyyyy too serously Humour is goood The quality you most admire in a woman? Hmmm, that would be humour. I can't stand girls who thgink they're the real deal and can't take a joke  We have loads of bit**** here in Nice and when I sEE these girls, I want to hit them with a stick.I love laughing, I do it a lot and I can't stand being with gloomy/stuck-up/pretentious people. so humour is the quality I'd say dedication too but that's repetitive Your favorite virtue hmmm. | Your worst Fear? Without any doubt, I'm scared thatsomething might happen to my loved ones... That's my worst fear. Your favorite ice cream flavor? That's an horrible question I'd have to go for Ginger or Cinammon...either way, it's too good for words Your favorite color? Blue Your favorite movie(s)? Thatmight be the worst question. EVER I have a soft spot for Starwars' old trilogy, especially The empire strikes back, a true masterpiece. Then, I'm in love with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind, it's downright brilliant and sooo inventive. Then Requiem for a dream 'cause the emotional resonnance behind it is enormous... And Ellen Burstyn's performance was out of this world!!!! I also have a soft sport for anything Sofia Coppola, I love the atmosphere in her movies I love Memento, When Harry met Sally ( I know, typicla but awesome ), I'm in love with Goodbye Lenin! I'm in awe whenever I watch The Shining or any Kubrick movie (besides Eyes wide shut ), Trainspotting has me shivering everytime, same for Apocalypse now.I love anything Soderbergh, except for O12 and Solaris which were weak imo Oldies like The Thomas Crown affair or Citizen Kane blow my mind AND I love french movies like the wonderful/heartwarming/touching/somptuous Amelie and the awesome Auberge espagnole and Les poupées russes Irreversible shook me to the core. I'm at the top of my game at night I start writing essays or things like that at 11 PM, before that, it's not worth it and I'm used to be out at night so it's easier for me BUT for sport, I can wake up early and be ready and awake First song you remember? I think I'm more of a Daddy girl I do everything with my daddy I think we're very close 'cause he followed a lot because of my MTB competitions so he was there whenever I had a bad crash or when I won and I don't know, I feel like I can tell him everything. But I'm very close to my mo too I guess I love my parents but I'm more of a daddy girl Favorite actor? GAH! I love Brad Pitt ( sooooo not just a pretty face ), Bill Murray, Robert de Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Marlon Brando and many others Favorite actress? | ok, I'm going to do some homeworks Have you been in love? Nope. I've been attached and cared a lot for a guy but never in love with anybody. Are you in love? Nope Favorite books? I love Starwars books ( I'm a huge geek ), Harry Potter, LOTR series. I have a special place in my heart for anything Tom Clancy I love Candace Bushnell. I'm in love with Métaphysique des tubes by Nothomb, I really appreciate Elmore Leonard, B.E.Ellis for his daring writing and that's iiiiit That's for contemporary books Regarding classics, I LOVE any play by Tchekhov, Tocqueville's writings about democracy are brilliant and very relevant in today's world, I love The Prince by Machiavel. Lolita by Nabokov really disburbed me but it's a really really good book Funniest day in your life? Hmmmm... good question...It might be two days ago when all my best girlfriend made me a surprise for my bday and we ended up at 2AM in the sea Happiest one? Without any doubt the day when I finished 2nd at the MTB Downhill World championships. My best bike friend took the title so we did a 'doublé' and hearing the national anthem on a Worlds podium??? best feeling ever. We were the last two riders remaining at the top of the track( 'cause we did the best qualifying times) so we had a lot of pressure and when I arrived at the bottom of the track after 7mins of eternal downhill, When I crossed the finish line and The speaker announced that I had the best time, I remember the french team running in my arms and I had to sit on the Hot seat (I kid you not ) and wait for my buddie who'd eventually do better than me but I didn't care... After the podium, we had to walk back to the hotel and she had the world champ jersey on and we had our medals around our necks and people drinking coffee outside bars would spontaneously get up and aplaude us I swear, I never blushed this hard anyway, yeah, best.day.of.my.life, all the hard work had paid off Are you shy? very much so. Especially around guys I like but that's classic But I feel very very self conscious when I get a praise or something like that, I just want to hide. I don't like to get a lot of attention.What makes you feel "pudor"? (If something) hmmm, nothing comes to mind immediatly How do you imagine yourself when you imagine you are someone else? | Oh mY god Claire!!!!! I was bragging about the manga to Vera for posts and posts a couple of months ago coz I re-read them!!! Damn when is that damn vol. 19 gonna come out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still read most of Clamp stuff, lately Holic XXX and Tsubasa I so so love Subura and Seishiro I love their whole story in Tokyo Babylon and then X..... | Hee, I'm in love with my X DVDs The drawings, the story, everything, it's mindblowing I'm not completely familiar with all his work but X is just A thing you are ashamed of having done euh. Nothing, 'cause when I do something, I'm never ashamed of it Favorite piece of clothing. Hmmm, I'm a total shirt lover I love shirts I have a brown/chocolate shirt that I particularly love that and boxers soooo confortable Do you have any pets? I used to have a little cat, Diablo, grey with green eyes but we had to gve him to our friends 'cause we moved out in a building and he was used to live in the wild country My bro has a hamster ( which is now bigger than a sumo, I kid you not, it's way tooo huge ) called speedy.
