Trapped and terrified, Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) and Tracy (Ali Larter) fight for their lives against a much-changed, monstrous Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) to free themselves, Maya (Dania Ramirez) and the doctor’s other “test subjects.” Elle (guest star Kristen Bell) returns, with a shock for Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and her family. Meanwhile, aware of Peter’s (Milo Ventimiglia) ruthless take down by her rivals at Pinehearst, Angela (Cristine Rose) reaches out to convince Sylar (Zachary Quinto) to save his brother. Since he won’t sign up with the Villains, Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) is ordered by her boss to go back and kill Matt (Greg Grunberg) -- or be killed herself. While in awe of the African precog’s power, Hiro (Masi Oka) still questions Usutu’s (guest star Ntare Mwine) advice on how to best face his gathering opponents. Jack Coleman and James Kyson Lee star. Alan Blumenfeld, Ashley Crow, Robert Forster, Jaime Hector and Blake Shields guest star. episode stills 3x08 - Villains
To prepare for the confrontation ahead, Hiro (Masi Oka) follows respected businessman, husband and father Arthur Petrelli (guest star Robert Forster) in the days before he “died” -- to discover what drove him to create rival company Pinehearst and strike at Angela (Cristine Rose). Later, a moment unfolds where Sylar (Zachary Quinto), horrified and guilt-ridden, might have stopped his murderous pursuit of abilities -- that is, if H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) and Elle (guest star Kristen Bell) had swayed from their monstrous assignment. Finally, under the wing of Company man Thompson (guest star Eric Roberts), agent-in-training Meredith (guest star Jessalyn Gelsig) watches her new life go up in smoke, following the arrival of her hot-headed brother. Greg Grunberg, James Kyson Lee, Ali Larter, Hayden Panettiere, Adrian Pasdar, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Dania Ramirez and Milo Ventimiglia also star. Jimmy Jean-Louis, Malcolm McDowell, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Ron Perkins, Blake Shields, and Jeff Staron guest star. What you will see more of is in a great episode, it's episode eight, and it's a flashback episode that's kind of a prequel to the pilot. It sort of dovetails into the pilot, and you see how, for instance, HRG and Elle are complicit in sort of the creation of Sylar. It's a really good origins episode of how Sylar got to be the way he is, and the relationship between HRG and Elle. It was hinted at last year when Suresh says to me, "You know her?" and it's like, "Oh yeah." It's never really explained in what form, how it is that I knew her, so you really see more of that. Source: Jack Coleman Interview The scene: a cozy New York apartment on the L.A. set of Heroes in August, where an ordinary man trying very hard not to become an extraordinary monster pops the cork on a champagne bottle. ''The ziti smells terrific!'' says Gabriel Gray (Zachary Quinto), calling out to the woman who's minutes away from damning him to his predestined future as a brain-mutilating serial killer. Her name is Elle (Kristen Bell), and not only does she emerge from the kitchen sporting a Betty Crocker smile and holding the aforementioned Italian casserole, she also promises him a tasty side dish — in the form of a scruffy dinner guest who possesses a secret power. ''He's special too,'' she coos. Source: EW 3x09 - It's Coming
After a preemptive strike against Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) in Africa, Arthur Petrelli (guest star Robert Forster) orders Knox (guest star Jamie Hector) and Flint (Blake Shields) to hunt down his son Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and granddaughter Claire. Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) is stunned to learn his father is alive -- and leading a villainous charge to worldwide destruction. Meanwhile, back at Pinehearst, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) has a charged confrontation with Elle (guest star Kristen Bell). Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) begins testing his new, combined superpower formula. Later, with the others dead, injured or on the run, Matt (Greg Grunberg) attempts to wake Angela (Cristine Rose). Jack Coleman and Ali Larter star. Robert Forster, Brea Grant and Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine also guest star. episode stills. General Spoilers Kristen Bell will most definitely be back, beginning with the second episode (which is the second hour of the premiere) and most likely for a total of five episodes this season. I also hear (spoiler alert!) she is very much a part of the series in a very major way when they flash forward to the future. I think you'll be surprised over who she's hooking up with—and also might squee a little. source: Kristin Dos Santos. In the future, Sylar has a four-year-old named Noah (which has to be in memory or honor of our Noah Bennet, aka H.R.G.), and according to Zachary Quinto, Sylar's baby mama is "silver-tongued and alive. I don't know what else to say. I can't give that away—it's too good." I'm voting for Kristen Bell's Elle, who could certainly be characterized as silver-tongued, although perhaps I'm just thinking of Veronica Mars. Any other theories? source: Kristin Dos Santos. And, Kring adds, Claire (Hayden Panettiere) - who has a big story line with electrified Elle (Kristen Bell) - "gets to go badass!" source: Kring ~ US Weekly. "They're showing more of her human side," Bell said. "She's this vaguely barbaric, unfeeling, antisocial adaptive killer who's coy. However, she's had some tough decisions to make [over the years, and the writers are] giving her more depth. There are flashback scenes showing that she's intricately woven into people's lives before you met her. She met a lot of [the characters] before she was introduced on the show." source: Kristen ~ scifi.com. "Claire and Elle are once again on a collision course." source: Kring ~ TVGuide. Kristen Bell will be definitely back, and when she returns, we see that Elle has quite literally be on the fritz—her power keeps overloading and blowing out of control—and she'll turn to Claire for help. source: Kristin Dos Santos. Filming Candids & Video With Jack - August 8th With Jack - August 28th With Zach - September 20th Filming an Elle/Claire/Peter scene.
