Gracie's Choice - The Best Lifetime Movie Ever

Sorry, couldn't resist poking fun at Lifetime.

I saw Gracie's Choice with a friend who insisted it was amazing. I was like, "It's a lifetime movie. Suuuuuure."

But Kristen is amazing. She upstages Anne Heche, a talented, albeit TOTALLY FREAKING NUTS actress.

The scenes with her and the police, and especially the stuff just between her and her mother, are so intense... it's some of Kristen's finest work.

So I think it desereves a thread to discuss it!

Hey man, you can't blame Anne Heche. You have to blame the cans of soup she talks to. They are filling her head with nonsense

I agree though, the movie is sooo good. I totally cried. I know, I'm a dork. But Kristen just makes the movie so amazing. Her performance is just so good.

I mean, it must be hard waiting and waiting for the spaceship to come, only to have it not show up, though they clearly said they were.

Apparently, some people found her in their lawn, looking for her mothership. Not joking in the slightest bit. She said she had an alternate personality named Thea or something who was psychic.

I saw it on "E!'s 100 Best Kept Hollywood Secrets".

Ah. See I thought you were doing a, "Surrrrrrrre.... What's he talking about?"

Now I feel so dumb. Sigh.

Ah well, what were we talking about? Gracie's choice?

Kristen absolutely MADE this movie for me. She completely breaks my heart.

She was so cute at Tommy's house, so sweet and naive and I loved how when she was fixing up her apartment she went with the same decor in the bathroom, aww.

I wanted to hug her so much in this movie. She was so vulnerable, like in the once scene where she's taking that donut, her face scratched up and she's like "thanks" I really felt for her.

I could go on but really she is amazing.

I thought she did an outstanding job in this movie. I was really touched. The beginning with them leaving the dog almost had me in tears. I, somehow, managed to go through the entire movie without crying, but when my sister watched it, she was bawling like crazy. It kinda made me feel bad because I didn't.
