I just kinda stumbled in here while looking around the Kristen board

but I think I've seen Gracie's Choice before without ever realising it was Kristen!

I think I caught it part way through one day awhile back on cable TV or whatever and ended up getting stuck watching it all, the premise of the movie sounds so familiar. Ahh it makes me want to see it again to see if it really was (is) this movie!

I'll admit I'm a sucker for these kinda lifetime movies...you start watching and no matter how hard you try, you end up sticking around for the whole thing

Oh I saw the movie a long time before I started watching VM, so I had no idea who Kristen was. I haven't managed to watch the movie since I became VM and KB-obsessed

So I watched it with my sister and I loved it. I've seen a few lifetime movies and they all have a certain amount of cheese to them but this one kind of avoided that. Maybe I'm biased because it has Kristen in it? I don't know.

It was a sharp contrast to seeing her in VM, she was much older but there was still that sense of a very strong female figure. Her acting was brilliant and she really held her own within the movie.

If you get a chance to watch it then do so!

Oooh that scene got me, and when they had to leave the dog? That was upsetting. I really didn't get the grandmother though, at first she appeared to be strong again their mother but in the end she just gave in to her.

Definetly see if you can get it! You could probably find a cheap copy on ebay or amazon. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

I can watch it over and over again without getting tired of it. I watched Gracie's Choice again today, and I just love it. Kristen was amazing - I adored the character she played. Def. best lifetime movie ever.

Thats true, she was master manipulator. At one point I thought the kids would go with her but they stayed true to Gracie and didn't let Rowena manipulate them.

Finally got to see the movie yesterday, and wow...it was absolutely worth it. Kristen really outdid herself and the rest of the cast.
I am a sucker for Lifetime movies anyhow, but this was really great. Neat story too, although I really felt bad for her - and a few times I felt like punching that mother and grandmother.
