i gotta say. i loved this ep. from beginning to end.
everytime i think i have it figured out, or i know what the play will be, Schur rips the carpet out from under me, like 6 or 7 times. the amount of reboots really amused me. by the time Jason figured it out as well. i mean, all time low for Michael and the one where he left the door open and Eleanor just walked in.  real eleanor as denise continues to make me laugh. her frustration at not even getting to ding her triangle was priceless. anyway, long story short... the team up of Michael and our lucky unlucky bad place dwellers feels inevitable now that it has happened... but, we moved into this phase way quicker then i could have anticipated, if i had been able to anticipate it. and hey Eleanor and Chidi...  as for Mindy St. Claire. when she was finishing their sentences what a bizarre funny character. plus janets reboot pleading was great... the hamilton tickets. __________________

obv they cant keep doing reboot after reboot (i mean every ep cant be a reboot, that would get old quick) but at the same time you wanna see how out of element michael is so the 1st part of this ep was a good way to do that
and i love that they are going to be 'working' together now! i totally wanted eleanor to eventually team up with michael, just didnt think/know it would happen this quickly __________________

Man, this show keeps surprising me. So great.
It's early yet so this may change, but I do think they're short changing Tahani this season. I loved her unique friendships/whatevers with Eleanor and Chidi. Seems to have gone away this year. Sidenote: I would have LOVED to see the attempt where Tahani and Eleanor were "soulmates". |
