S02E01 & S02E02: Everything Is Great!

In the Season 2 premiere, Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani and Jason—who've had their memories erased by ambitious master architect Michael—again settle into the Good Place. Eleanor discovers the one clue she left for herself, however, and attempts to piece things together.

i can't wait to see michael lying to everyone else about shawn okaying the reboot and lying to shawn about version 2.0 going as planned start to blow up in his face

love how the torture this time around was so specific to each of them.. chidi having to choose his ****in soulmate when he cant even make a do it yourself sundae

tahani and her cargo pants were too much for me

she had some of the best lines: "it's so cozy, i feel like the walls are just hugging me" and all the Freudian shorts

amazing.

eleanor's "i loved mushrooms. and i can honestly say that"

and the non-nieces christening.

yeah, i can see that things are going to get even tricker for michael. things could unravel fast.

and i love fake eleanor/denise and her dedication to all this

michael shouldnt write her off, shes the only one who actually wants in on his whole performance

The ending shocked me, like another reboot? Although for as smart as Eleanor is, it was a huge mistake for her to tell Michael about the letter.

I was so upset. lolol

I can't wait to see what happens from here but solid episode although I didn't love it as much as many people but I am intrigued about what happens next and I loved Eleanor/Denise.

And Michael has everyone so NOT under control because a lot of people are getting tired of this game cycle. lol

what i like is something that i read, and it's pretty clear, they seem to have imprinted on each other. sure they've been rebooted, but its not all gone.
for instance eleanor had a feeling that she knew Jason etc. and there were definitely moments where it felt like each character had changed a bit. i mean, Eleanor in take one would have been knocking those Tequila's back within 12 seconds, with or without a note stuck in Janets mouth. they all knew it was off on some level. im hoping that that sort of connection is something that continues to persist and grow... and unravel Michaels plans

yea i dont think they'll be going for another reboot soon again after the 2nd one though so i guess they didn't want a note to be an option again

it's definitely interesting seeing how they have changed on some level.. think it will def raise some ques/call into issues on how the good/bad system actually works

cant wait to see more Denise

and also wouldnt mind seeing this hunk again

its really great seeing the behind the scenes perspective of the Good Place from the perspective of the bad guys now.
i look forward to Adam Scotts character coming back as well. just for the hell of it.

do you think the fact that Janet took Jason straight to Eleanors is an indication that she too has had some imprinting, and while she's been rebooted, there is still some code in there that shouldnt be?
