GUYS, that plot twist holy shirt!

can't wait to hear what you guys think, but i kind of love that this is the direction it's gone in. who would have guessed?! although i think some of us came close or right on the money with a the theory or two, or were on the right track toward figuring it out. but now so much makes sense!

also, everyone was A++++++ this episode, but especially ted and kristen. i'm so glad we got to see bad janet again because she's a riot and mindy st. clair cracked me up

YES the way he goes from the michael demeanor we've gotten familiar with to that devious smirk, it was perfection! no wonder we all kind of noticed these people weren't as perfect as they seemed!

i saw someone post on tumblr say because they literally just rebooted the whole show that means we deserve a second season, which i completely agree with

its brilliant.. any of the criticisms about the point system and wtv that seemed like they contradicted themselves or didnt make sense are basically moot because of this twist

and it just makes so much sense.. most of us were saying the good people didnt seem that good.. and then good eleanor "i spent three hours practicing that"

well.... THAT happenend. and i did NOT see it coming.
i mean, we were all rolling around this concept of none of them really being good... and it possibly being purgatory as they try get to the good place. but seriously? michael is evil... and they're all in frozen yoghurt hell. its Machiavellian. and delightful. and incredible. and im just wow... nicely played. nicely played.

i know right? i kinda pride myself on figuring out the twists of shows and things... and lets be honest they are hard to pull off. but they completely blew me out the water. i was NOT expecting that. and of course it makes SO much sense as well. in retrospect. Freaking smart writing. im a bit in Awe of Schur right now, because wow.

even as eleanor said this is the bad place.. i was like what is she trying to pull with this.. and theres that second before michael breaks and does his evil laugh that i was thinking ok.. hes gonna have to somehow pick up what eleanor is trying to do to fool shawn..

the flashbacks in this show are SO GOOD, especially eleanor's. she's kind of the worst (not worse than jason, of course) but she's so freakin funny! like when she crashed the bat mitzvah, just the way she blows the air horn was comedic gold
