that's the plan! Our soaps are cooler than the people who watch them. Eastenders showed two guys making out recently, and they got 125 complaints from people bitching about them showing something like that before the watershed

125 out of the 10+ million people who watch is really nothing, but the fact that anyone would complain is beyond me. One woman said she had to explain to her son what it meant, and he now thinks he's gay because he kisses his dad

I guess she didn't explain very well then! LOL. I guess he must have always thought that he and his mum were doing something sexual everytime he kissed her too.

I know I'm going to be in tears next week, have you seen the Devastation Street advert, with Hometown Glory playing? Even that keeps setting me off

they had to choose that song! I'm going to be a mess when he actually dies and I have to see Carla dealing with it. Boo.

I know, it's ridiculous. And the kiss was nothing! It's not like they were writhing around in bed, it was a couple seconds on a park bench

all the soaps have shown gay kisses before. Obviously these people who complained never heard of the JP/Craig storyline on Hollyoaks that was shown even earlier in the evening, heh.

Because Hollyoaks is only watched by teens and our generation is far more awesome and tolerant than the oldies

I find it kinda hilarious that a woman is happy for her 7 year old son to watch a soap filled with people getting murdered, raped, attacked, bullied, people cheating on each other, there's even a peadophile on it right now sleeping with his girlfriend's 15 year old daughter.... but it's a kiss on a park bench between two people in a relationship that is inappropriate for him
