our soaps aren't quite as far-fetched as American soaps seem to be, so sadly no rising for the dead or long lost twin brothers. It's the actor who wanted to leave

aww.. do you guys use different actors for one character? cus sometimes if the actor wants to leave.. they still have the character around just played by someone else.. it gets confusing the first few times.. but pretty used to it if they stick around longer..

A couple times.. not often though! I think I remember they did it once in one of the soaps.. but the character had been gone for a few years so it wasn't so weird. Oh, they did it with a young character in one of the others and it was totally stupid, because she used to be quite short and ginger, and then the next minute she was tall and brunette

you'd think they'd at least try and get someone who looked similar, heh.

It never takes long to get into soap storylines though! You just have to watch a couple and you manage to figure out everything that's going on

I don't watch but I've read all about it and yeah, it seems a bit much to be killing off yet another person in that family!

I saw some of the stuff with Carla/Liam when he was marrying Maria, but all I can think whenever I see her in CS is "Daz woman!"

Quite a few soaps over here have changed the actor, mostly when the child characters get older though yeah

and her Ferguson interview! So cute.

Corrie seriously wants to kill me though, tonight Liam was kissing Maria and then the song came on that was playing when he and Carla first hooked up last year.. and he basically threw Maria away, heh, and got all angsty. And I loved it because it was so subtle and people who aren't Liam/Carla fans and haven't watched that scene over and over (hee) won't remember what song was playing a year ago, so probably didn't get it. I hate when soaps are so good and subtle like that and then go and ruin it by being ridiculous

Who else can you think of that they changed Siobhan? The only adult I think I can remember changing was Sam in Eastenders..
