that people dont think shes a good actress in general..
but dont that it's weird for someone to think someone not a good actress and adorable at the same time.. theres lots of people i find cute but cant act for ****

Really? I don't think that's a general opinion. In fact, most of the reviews for 'Fanboys' were positive for KB.

That being said, I would love for her to stop doing rom - coms. She is far better in dramatic roles and since Anne Hathaway got the nomination this year I can't stop wondering what Kristen might do with a well written, dramatic role.

I want Kristen to do more drama too, although maybe she feels like she has more fun doing comedy. We'll see what she picks next.

I think she meant that in general she thinks people are crazy if they think KB is a bad actress, not that people think she's a bad actress in general, hee. KB is one of the very few people who very, very rarely gets called a bad actress

at least not by anyone that matters, heh. Even in Pulse all the reviews talked about how the movie sucked but she was fantastic. There was more of it with FSM but even then no-one ever really said her acting was bad, just that the writing for her character wasn't very good and she didn't have much to do.

And yeah, like 90% of the reviews for this movie have said KB was one of the best things about it.

Yeah, she seems to love comedy a lot. She always says she will do things she likes to do... and now, when she can obviously choose her roles, I expect more comedy. Which is OK, since I will watch her 'reading a Havana phone book'...

movie wise has been more comedy but tv show appearances have been more drama.. i think she'll have a good time doing drama too.. it's been a while.. would think she would want a bit of change too..

I don't think she's that famous for dramatic roles in movies yet. I think she has that reputation in TV, that she can do drama and comedy, but I'm starting to think that from movies she gets offered more interesting comedic roles than dramatic. But it also could be her choice to do comedy for a while. Who knows what kind of decision process she has when considering roles.

Well she said herself at the MTV awards that she isn't going to plan what she's going to do next, that the moment she decided to do another drama a fantastic romcom would come along. I just think she picks what she thinks will be fun to work on

and I'd still rather see her as a lead in a comedy than a Fanboys-sized role in a drama

She's always seemed to have the mentality that she'll pick what looks fun to her regardless of what it is. Isn't there a quote from her somewhere that she would rather work on a terrible movie than a good one if it meant having fun and working with friends? Or something like that at least.

I can't wait to check out the commentary. I'll have to wait til I go back home though, I'm visiting friends and it'll be like pulling teeth to get them just to watch the movie. For some reason, my love of kristen turns them off to anything with her in it, they like refuse to watch anything she's in idk why, they're weird.

i dont mean dramatic roles that would garner oscar nominations or anything.. i would just think considering her talent that if she did audition for a role in dramas, she can get something regardless of whether it's like the leading role or anything.. iono just as a fan and viewer, i wanna see a variety of things. but since she seems to enjoy doing comedy then good on her for getting being able to get those
