I am surprised Veronica was still so nice to Apollo though even after she thought he was a fraud. But I do like when she gets all touched by a case. The VP/LP parallells were interesting. Very obvious that Logan and Veronica aren't nearly as into their significant Ps as they are into them. And Mac asking if Pizneyland was the happiest place on earth and Veronica responding with "happy enough" pretty much says it all ![]() The Veronica/Keith stuff was probably my favourite of their interactions all season. Her being so pleased with herself at beating his score and then finding out she didn't was hilarious. And their scene at the end when she got the internship was adorable Kristen is too cute when Veronica gets to act happy like that, and it's so rare we ever get to see it.__________________ > hayden panettiere | |||

| I liked this episode too. Thankfully the MOtW and the actors who played Apollo and Kizza were engaging. I would've been really upset if their Invisible Children episode had fallen as flat as some of the other episodes this season because I was really looking forward to it. I Keith & Veronica in this episode! Why couldn't they have been written like that all season? That's the kind of daddy/daughter stuff I'm going to miss if the show gets canned or comes back sans Rico. There was too much cutesy Veronica/Piz in this episode. Yawn. __________________ "The flutes were next to the swords—because you never know when you’ll need to kill someone with a sword and then, you know … get out of there. | |||

| episode rating: 8.5/10 What I didn't like: The pacing/editing of this episode was really weird. Can't remember the specific scenes but it kind of took me out of the episode. Max/Mac - just don't get the point of them. It is just there so that Mac has a storyline? If so, the writers can do better than that. I liked Max when he was first introduce but not so much now. The whole helping-people-cheat as some sort of career just bothers me. And I don't see Mac just jumping into bed so soon with him. The Max/Mac nerd flirting in the last episode was cute but this is not working. Logan/Parker - When I first found out about Logan/Parker, I was kinda worried because I thought that as a couple they could work out. But this episode convince me otherwise. First of all, I expected way more chemistry between them; Jason has chemistry with practically anything/anyone but I can't see that with L/P. Also Parker is definitely way more into Logan than Logan is into her. I don't want to say she's clingy (then again this is the girl who was overly estatic at the thought of moving in together) but she's just so into him and up until this point so oblivious to how much of an act Logan is putting together to be such a good bf to her. For a while there, it really did seem like he was ready to really move on but the amount of interest he's showing right now, why does he even bother? Then he tries to overcompensate. He should just end the charade already. Logan and Parker would be better as good friends. Whew...on to the good things: MOTW - Overall, it was the best motw of the standalone episodes so far. I like the resolution, I actually teared up like Veronica did during the father/son reunion. And I got played just like Veronica did, nice one Apollo. I actually like when Veronica gets outwit when it's done in a good way. And I think I was more interested in the motw just because the cast is so invested in Invisible Children. Dick Jr./Dick Sr. - Some might say that it's a little late but I think it was worth it. Finally another glimpse of Dick's conscience. But what's with Dick Sr's sudden turnabout? Anyways, yea it's about time we're getting to see more and more of how Dick is affected by Cassidy and to see his remorse. I like how this addressed the fact that Cassidy's breakdown wasn't just the result of being molested by Woody but also a consequence of growing up and having to deal with his ****ty family. Piz/Veronica - I don't really know how to explain it but I just like them and more. They're cute but not in a naseous way. I think they work (for now) because I just don't feel any expectations for them. Piz is obviously really into Veronica but he seems to get that she likes him but not as much as he likes her so he isn't really pushing for anything. I think it's best explain by the 'Pizneyland not being the happiest place on Earth but happy enough' It's just nice to see Veronica being happy, relax, and carefree in a relationship. It's no 'epic' but it'll work for now. Best daddy/daughter duo on TV - loved the whole 'competition' between them. Veronica was extremely cute when she thought that she beat his score and adorable when she found out she didn't. And the whole ending with Veronica getting the internship made me all giddy. I love it when she's so genuinely happy. Others - So I have this unexplainable for Sachs (maybe it's cus underneath the mustache, he is hot!) and now we finally got his name, Jerry! (or was it Gary?) The pen thing cracked me up for some reason... Cliff! always brings a smile to my face. Vinnie! and Liam Fitzpatrick. I hope they actually go somewhere with this storyline. The writers have a lot of stuff to work with here. Although these are the standalone episodes, I kind of feel like this election and the collaboration of Vinnie and the Fitz can be considered an arc. Wow, that was long..what does it say about this show that I'm here writing all this when I should be doing my senior project? That VM is still my favorite show ever and there better be a 4th season. Please, pretty please CW! Next week cannot be the series finale. | |||
