After watching that scene, I knew Zay would be an interesting character. =p Do you know if TPTB always knew that they were going to bring one of Lucas' Texas friends to New York City?

Idk, I hope so because I do think it was kind of needed. I do think that they wanted another male friend for Lucas, because I felt like Billy Ross was kind of a test for that

I never thought of that. Now that I think about it, it did seem like TPTB wanted to test the audience to see if they would accept more Billy.

I'm happy TPTB introduced Zay, because he brought a new energy to the show. He sparked right from the beginning and I'm happy TPTB decided to keep him around.

He did, it felt like we needed another guy in the group, & someone who could bring out a different side of Lucas was a great idea

Plus, Amir just fit, he had chemistry with everyone & it worked

Lucas getting a blast from the past was awesome! Zay did bring out another side of Lucas, which I really appreciated.

He really did! He fit right in, which is probably why TPTB decided to keep him around. =p

& I'm so glad that they did! Even though it was kinda weird sometimes how he only seemed to be in school about 60% of the time

Wish that he had been promoted to regular, but I guess that was a budgeting thing...
