^ I think so too. Every parallel that fans happen to come across is definitely intentional. If TPTB didn't include those parallels on their own, then the actors/actresses gave TPTB the idea to put the parallels in.

Yeah, there's no way that there wasn't someone working on the show who knew exactly what was going on - even if everyone else didn't catch it

^ Every showrunner has to know that devoted fans will analyze every interaction between two characters. I don't think it takes much for fans to find connections.

I love the caption/hashtags for that gif set.

Maybe they started dressing alike because they spent a lot of time together.

^ That is another possibility. I wouldn't be surprised that they borrowed each other's clothes. They do seem to have the same style, so it makes sense.

^ I agree with you, Sophie. I always got the sense that Katy is a bit of Topanga fangirl. Katy would totally want to borrow Topanga's clothes more often than Topanga would want to borrow Katy's clothes.

She probably was a little envious of her. Katy was struggling as a single mother & it must have seemed like everything was pretty easy for Topanga. She had two kids that were turning out great, a successful career & a loving husband - it'd be hard not to compare yourself to that!

I think so too. Katy saw everything that Topanga had, and she probably hoped that she would have it too...one day.
