Is there a Topanga/Riley moment that you wish we could have seen on the show?

Probably just little things, like them doing fun things together like going shopping or getting out of the house - but the show never really used other sets

^ Yes, that's true. There weren't nearly enough mother-daughter moments. I wish we had gotten to see more of their bond. I wanted to see at least one moment where Riley went to Topanga for advice about something that she couldn't talk to Cory about.

Yeah, they got their own storyline when they had that big fight, but I would have liked to see them get a storyline where it was about Topanga helping her too

^ That they did. Even though there are some little moments during that fight that I don't like, I'm glad TPTB gave us that fight. It seemed to show them both how tough they each had it, and it seemed to strengthen their bond when they made up. Me too. We saw a few instances where Topanga stepped in and helped Riley, but I can't remember a specific moment where Riley went to Topanga for a specific reason.

Yeah, some parts of it were hard to watch - I do feel like Riley was being pretty disrespectful at some points, so I was glad to see Topanga double down on her

& it definitely did make their bond stronger in the end

^ I agree. I somehow always end up on Topanga's side when I think about their fight. She's the parent and she set down the rules. Even though I understand Riley's side of things, I thought she should have respected Topanga's rules.

It did! That was very important for them to have disagreements because it taught them to appreciate each other after they made up.

Yeah, she had. Riley was acting like if she didn't agree with Topanga's rules, then Topanga should respect her not following them, which is not how it works at all

& you could tell that neither of them were going to let an argument go that far again

^ Exactly. Just because Riley had been a good girl didn't mean she could do what she wanted. Parents make the rules and kids are supposed to follow them, even when they don't like those rules.

I agree. I don't think either one of them wants to feel the way they felt during their fight. You can bet that they are going to make sure they learn from their fight.

Yeah, that's the good thing about it, they learnt how to handled those kind of situations better

^ Exactly. I think it was good that they had that fight, because it prepared them for future fights. I just hope they aren't too serious.

Oh, boy. I love how Riley's reason for wanting a bat mitzvah is so that she can sit in her room and open envelopes. =p

I think she must have done offscreen, she probably didn't like Riley just being after money like that
