That must have been one of the reasons that TPTB chose Rowan to play Riley. Viewers have to buy them as mother and daughter. In my opinion, the casting department did a fantastic job of casting Riley.

Whoever they were going to pick as Riley had to be able to portray that lead character spot, AND fit into the Corpanga family and whatnot... Well done casting
