That is what I hope for, that when she grows up a little more and with experience, she will figure out which battles are worth the aftermaths and which one aren't. And I completely agree with the part in bold. I guess she wanted to rebel but she didn't want to go full .


It looks like Topanga is going to have to put in some serious overtime to afford that teen angst, especially since Riley's about to stumble upon the most confusing part of her teen years.

I think she wanted to be a grown up, not really to rebel. But I love how both showed their strong personality but also how much it hurt them their fight.

I didn't see it that way. I guess I'll have to re-watch the episode to see how I see things. The part in bold -- I loved that too! They tried so hard to be strong and to stick to their guns that they were right and the other person was wrong...but in the end, all that mattered to them was that they understood why the other person was mad, and they reconciled.

^ I get it now. She has tried to act more grown up...which has usually resulted in her learning her lesson that she should go at her own pace/do things when she's ready. Do you think her tendency to do that has something to do with the idea of that she sees her parents as these legendary people that she has to live up to?

They are so sweet together! Riley needs some Topanga love every once in a while.

She's really good arguing tho. She could've been a lawyer in a school project with a judge and everything. We did it in my school once.
