Back in the bmw days? I'm not sure, because we didn't really meet that many female characters either....I liked her friendship with Angela & then later, Rachel. Perhaps if they had kept her older sister around, it would have been interesting to see a friendship/sisters bond there :sigh:

^ That's what I meant. Angela and Rachel were the only two significant female friendships that Topanga had. Trina was also introduced as Topanga's best friend...for one episode. I wonder why TPTB didn't keep her around longer. :goof: :thud: It sucks that there weren't more female characters around. I'll have to see if I find anyone that I think would have been a great friendship for Topanga. :lurking: :thumbs_up: Ah, yes, Nebula. Why didn't we see her more than once? It would have been fun to see what their dynamic was like after Topanga became her own person (i.e. season two and beyond). :look:

Oh yeah, there was Trina - it seemed as if the writers were never that interest in Topanga's life. Even her parents disappeared all the time :(

& I agree about Nebula, because she was older it would have been good that Topanga would have someone to go to for advice :sigh:

^ That is true. I kind of understand why there wasn't much focus put on Topanga...but that doesn't mean I liked it. :no: :thud: I noticed that too. The actors and actresses that played her parents were almost never seen more than once. :confused: :spineyes: :thud:

It makes the most sense for Topanga to talk to her sister if and when she had any concerns. :hippie: All we can do is pretend that that was how it happened. I would hope that she had someone like that in her life, especially since we didn't get to see another strong female figures in her life on the show. :hippie:

It would have been nice if they kept her sister around so Topanga had an older female role model to talk to.
