It was very sweet, & it was nice how he appreciated her when Cory did everything he could to deny his feelings for her

^ Oh, yes, indeed. If TPTB hadn't gone down the Cory/Topanga road, and if Stuart had been part of the show beyond season one, then I would have totally been on the Stuart/Topanga love boat. TPTB dropped hints that there could have been an interesting push-and-pull between them.
 That would have been quite a sight to behold. __________________

^ I can picture that. If Stuart had been part of season two and beyond, I'm sure we would have seen him realize that his feelings for Topanga weren't what he thought they were. The fact that we didn't get to see Stuart moving on means that I can't stop imagining the 'what if' of the Stuart/Topanga relationship.

 Let's not forget the occasional 'you were supposed to be my mother' comments that Farkle made to/about Topanga from time to time. Clearly TPTB remembered the crush Stuart had on Topanga all those years ago.   =p__________________

In the first ep when he comes back he does that thing where he shouts 'Topanga!' when he sees her, & then also makes sure that she knows that he has a helicopter & complains about Topanga choosing Cory

 I love that Stuart had to tell Topanga that he had a helicopter. =p For some reason, Stuart reminded me of Artie Ziff in that scene. He had everything he could possibly want, except he didn't have the girl he had a crush on when he was in school. __________________
