^ That would have so great! Minkus was the only other character besides Cory that I could have shipped with Topanga. I wish we had gotten that AU episode. I still don't understand why Minkus didn't make it out of season one. Imagine what the rest of the series would have been like if he had been in the mix.

^ Right? As much as I loved the core three of Cory, Shawn and Topanga, I think they would have had even more fun together if Minkus had been part of the group. I'm disappointed that he just disappeared without any explanation.

^ Spinoff, sendoff -- either one of those would have worked. I wonder when TPTB decided that Minkus wasn't going to return after the season one finale. If they knew that they weren't going to bring him back when they were writing that episode, then I agree that they should have given him a proper sendoff.

I kinda wonder if they knew at the end of s1, because didn't the season finale end with Topanga telling Cory & Shawn about the power of their minds & then they used it to make Farkle disappear? Kind of a weird way to write someone out if they did know

^ Oh, yeah! I remember that! If TPTB had decided that Minkus wasn't going to be part of the series after the season one finale, then I agree that it wasn't a good way to tell us that we weren't going to see him anymore and/or say goodbye to his character. I don't remember them even mention him after that power of the mind disappearing act...until he popped back up in the season five finale.

I don't think they did either, it was strange... & kinda mean to Lee imo

^ I agree. He may have been a supporting character, but he was an important part of the show. It wouldn't have been the same without him. He should have at least gotten a proper goodbye scene.
