^ I could see that happening. I wish we could have gotten some of those Shawn mentions before Shawn and Maya officially met. It would have been fun to see Maya's reactions to being compared to Shawn, and what that probably made her think of Shawn.

^ That is an excellent question. I think she probably didn't liked being compared to Shawn before she met him, but after she did meet him and she got to know him, she probably realized why the comparison fit so well.

Aw, I love that parallels! Shawn and Maya were perfect examples of how family isn't always the people you are linked to by blood. They are the people that are there for you in good times and bad.

I wonder if they see themselves as unofficial members of the Matthews family, and whether they came to that conclusion before or after one of the Matthews family members told them directly.

I think they probably did deep down, & hoped that the Matthews' felt the same way, but never knew for sure until it was said

^ I think so too. Neither one of them felt like they belonged, so when they became unofficial members of the Matthews family, they probably didn't want to jinx it by voicing it. Imagine how happy they were when the other members of the family made remarks that confirmed that they felt the way Shawn and Maya felt.
