^ Yeah. I think Chet's death affected the guys differently because their dynamics were different with him, simply because Chet raised Shawn but he didn't raise Jack.

Definitely, I mean, Shawn was grieving for his father, but Jack was grieving for what he would never have the chance to have now that Chet was gone

^ Exactly. I think they were both dealing with different branches of the same tree. I mean, they both grieved their loss, but Shawn was dealing with losing his chance to have a better relationship with Chet, and Jack was dealing with losing his chance to build a relationship with Chet. Both branches are tough to deal with. I know exactly how they feel right now, because I am both Shawn and Jack as I deal with my own loss.

 It's so hard to lose someone, especially when you don't expect it. It's going to hit me extra hard when I get to the episode where Shawn and Jack lose Chet. |

Yeah, you might want to hold off on that episode for a while. The emotions in it are all so genuine, it will be hard not to relate to it

^ Aw, how/why did that happen? If there was ever a time where they should have been there to help each other grieve and heal, it should have been after Chet passed.

I think when they went to clear out Chet's stuff, Shawn found out that Jack's parents had been sending them money, & Shawn was just really upset about it...

^ Naturally. Money was always a sensitive topic for Shawn, so the discovery that Jack's parents had been sending money was too much for him to deal with so soon after Chet's death.
