^ I agree. Jack and Shawn didn't have the same relationship that Eric and Cory had. I think they probably learned the lesson to do things their way when they followed the Matthews brothers' advice, and things didn't work out the way they thought they would.

I'm sure that there were some cases of that that we didn't see onscreen, where they tried to be like the Matthews' brothers & it backfired

That wouldn't surprise me either, they'd take bad advice over & over - Cory & Eric can be very convincing after all

^ I think so too. It would have been fun to see how the two sets of brothers related to each other, especially since one set of brothers grew up together and the other set of brothers were just getting to know each other.
