Shawn really grew up when he was with Angela. I felt that was when we started to see a more serious, mature Shawn.

^ Shawn really did grow up with Angela. I was recently watching the episode when Shawn planned to go on a date with Angela, and he was kidnapped by his three ex girlfriends who said they were protecting Angela by not allowing Angela to date Shawn.

The way Shawn stood up for Angela and opened up his heart to her not knowing how it was going to end, but knowing that Angela was worth it was a good moment in their relationship.

That was such a good episode for them. He realized he wanted to make it work with Angela, and wanted to get to know her better.

Agreed. When he was growing up, there was abandonment issues he was dealing with. Sure, the Matthews Family was always there for him, Cory's parents treat him like his own son but Shawn need his parents. Dad drinks and his mother who isn't his mother left. His parents influenced him. We see him dating becomes a real ladies man because he's afraid of committing to someone. he doesn't want to be hurt again after his mom left or dad died. People leave.

Seems like Rider was at a Girl Meets World taping tonight again.

I totally get where Shawn's abandonment issues came from, he was afraid to let somebody else in and then have them leave again. It was an interesting twist to see Angela having the same issues.

I saw he was on set again! I loved the pictures of him.

I think we will see him more than we though.

Yeah, i didn't expect Angela to have similar abandonment issue with her mom like Shawn with his not his real mother, who left him twice also with his dad who think he wasn't good enough so he left him with Turner. I think it's a nice twist because Shawn gets to have a deeper connection with Angela that he didn't have with Cory. With Cory, it's different because Cory got two parents who loves him.

I liked that twist with Angela too. I wasn't expecting it, and it was something they could relate to each other on a whole new level.
