^ I agree. Boy Meets World really was ahead of its time. TPTB really did create characters that people related to. And even if we watch the show now, we can still see how it's true today.

Oh, Shawn. I loved it when Shawn would freak out about a girl. And seeing him that freaked-out told us that it wasn't just another crush or another girl. It was obvious that he had never felt that way about a girl before, and that it was a huge moment for him.

Same, it was great to see him that way for the first time & such a nice contrast considering how smooth he had been with girls before

Yeah, you gotta love that growth - plus, Shawn had kept his heart guarded for so long, it was great to finally see him open up & want something with more depth

Aw, that's so beautiful! Yes, he does have such a good heart, and it was so clear that he had so much love to give. All he needed was to find someone that he was willing to risk the good and bad of opening his heart with.

He did, & Angela was definitely a good person for that - plus, I think there were a lot of people that he shared his heart with in a platonic way, like Cory, Topanga & the Matthews family, & they all helped take care of it

I completely agree. I didn't realize how much of an impact that Angela was going to have on him until I re-watched the show a few years later. And Shawn's family (i.e. the people you mentioned) did such a great job of making sure Shawn knew how much they loved him.

Would you look at that. I tend to gravitate toward people that remind me of me too.

They did, I think Shawn felt like he didn't have much family because both his parents abandoned him at times, but he built a new family around him without even knowing it
