I agree, Angela chose herself and her self worth. More women need to do that on TV shows, some act like they will die without a man *pukes*

^ I agree. I love and connect with ships the most when I can understand why one or both characters act a certain way. Plus it doesn't hurt when there's a touch of angst to their moments. Shawn and Angela's angsty, deep, real relationship is exactly the kind of love journey that appeals to me. That's why I couldn't resist getting on board and staying invested, no matter where that journey took them (and me).

I agree. I always said I did love and appreciate how Shawn and Angela's love story was more real and gritty compared to Cory and Topanga's relationship. They weren't wrapped up in a bow, they had to work to show how much they love each other. That made the reward even better. That's also another reason they would of reunited after Angela left with her father, Shawn would of been waiting with his arms wide open for Angela. With a ring as well.

^ Yes! I really loved how Shawn and Angela's love journey was bumpy. It made me appreciate every moment that they shared, because I knew how hard they worked to form that bond and keep the spark between them.

That's a great way to put it, I think they mirrored real life a lot more in that way too, things aren't always simple & easy, you have to make tough choices sometimes & put in the work

^ That's so true. That is why I rooted so hard for them. Their relationship ups and downs seemed very much like what a real-life relationship would have/be like...and I was here for all of it.

I tend to go for the more realistic & true to life couples too, but unfortunately that seems to mean that they don't end up together a lot of the time

It is, but it's the way that they lied about it that really makes me angry. Look at that gifset, that's all Shawn, loving Angela with his whole heart. It had nothing to do with trying to be like Cory & Topanga.
