Yeah, their soulmates and just know each other. Makes me think when Feeny read Shawn's poem in front of the class and no one knew Shawn wrote it but Angela.

I think there were definitely parts of himself that Shawn shared with Angela more than he did with Cory

I guess cause Angela saw a different, more intimate side to Shawn that Cory didn't. I also think it was her version of just loving that part of Shawn, just like he fell in love with Angela's stuff in that purse.

They definitely were, they just had that connection on a deeper level, like there was so much that they knew about each other, that they didn't actually have to tell each other about
