If this show didn't go the usual, predictable route most shows go with IR couples Shawn and Angela would of easily got back together and picked up where they left off. They were the love of each other's lives and Shawn fought like hell to get Angela back in S7 so it's very ridiculous they act like nothing ever happened again between them.

^ If TPTB weren't going to have them together, the least they could have done was to give us a proper ending.

I believe that. Their 'ending' near the end of Boy Meets World wasn't caused by them not loving each other or not wanting to be together. THe open ending let us hope that they would end up together.

I think in the last one Shawn said to her "Don't ever go away..." Which is sweet but also painful since she did end up leaving SMH.

For sure. She brought some calm and stablity to him, especially in that moment.

I remember that. He really did rely on her, which is why her leaving crushed both of their hearts.
