The BMW's episode of that was so much better, especially when it wasn't halfassed and rushed. Even then I could see Shawn going after Angela and marrying her.

^ I could see that too. They weren't together because the timing wasn't right for them, not because they didn't love each other. I always thought that they would find each other at some point.

True, but at least the one on BMW was written better. The lazy rewrite on GMW was just to get Angela out of the way while also spitting on the Shawn/Angela fanbase.

After more thought, I think the Girl Meets World moment hurts more because it happened and it was part of their history. The moment from Boy Meets World was a possible future for them if the Magnificent Seven hadn't made up, which means I can pretend that it didn't happen.

Yeah, the bmw moment wasn't actually canon - & even then, it seemed like Shawn was realizing that he should have gone after & maybe was still going to do that because it's better late than never

^ I definitely saw that. Now that you mention it, it did seem like that Boy Meets World moment had the potential to have a happy ending, even if it was going to take some years for them to get back to the way they were.

You don't realize how good something is until it's gone, so I'm sure that would of made Shawn go after Angela even harder in that scenario.
