^ Exactly! He was very open with his feelings for them, and he knew that they might never feel the same way about him...but he was okay with that.
 I did like the occasional moment where they did show him affection. It certainly threw him for a loop, and it was fun to see.          =p__________________

^ Right? He was fine with loving them and knowing that there was a chance that they might not return that love, but the second they showed him the tiniest bit of affection, he didn't know how to handle it. I can think of a few instances where he fainted.
