It kinda makes sense to me now that I've thought about it, the triangle was a big thing in season 6, so to have her date other guys as well would have been too much imo

On the flipside of that, if TPTB had had Rachel go on dates and then have at least one boyfriend, then maybe the triangle would have been dealt with sooner.

^ Right? If the triangle had been dealt with soon after it popped up, then we would have gotten to see the three of them going through college together and leaning on one another when they struggled.

I wonder why none of them lay down ground rules about their dynamic, and everyone stuck to those rules.

Idk, I wonder if the network pressed the show for more romantic drama & that's why the triangle happened in the first place

I'm disappointed by the triangle, since it took way too long to resolve. TPTB could have taken that time to flesh out Rachel's character, and to build the friendships/bonds between her and the two guys.

It sucks that Rachel was a supporting character, since TPTB didn't seem to add too many layers to the supporting characters.

Rachel was an important part of the group. She had connections with all of the characters. It would have only strengthened her role on the show if we had found out a few more details about her.

It would have, & I'm sure there would have been some good storylines there - plus, if it was revealed that she had more things in common with the others characters, it just would have brought them closer
