^ Right? I thought they would be on shaky ground for at least three or four episodes before TPTB brought some stability to Katy and Maya's relationship.

^ I agree. I thought TPTB had spent a little more time dropping breadcrumbs that showed that both Katy and Maya wanted to heal their relationship...before TPTB executed that plan.

That's what I thought as well, & I kinda wish that it had played out that way, because then the writers would have been able to get into it a bit more

^ I agree. I would have appreciated their eventual reconcilation/repairing of their relationship more if TPTB had had them spend a few more episodes working on it.

^ I agree.

It would have been more believable if TPTB had shown Katy offering an olive branch to Maya, telling her that she hadn't been the perfect parent but she wanted to get them on better terms. Then TPTB could have shown them slowly re-connecting which would have repaired their relationship and gotten them to a better/stronger relationship.

I would have liked that, because Maya seemed to be carrying so much, & Katy needed to show her that it was ok for her to be a kid & let Katy worry about all the other stuff

^ Exactly. I wish TPTB had taken them down that route. It would have been a more believable storyline.

^ That's what I think. There must have been storylines that TPTB couldn't do because it didn't fit the Disney image.

I'm glad TPTB repaired the relationship between Maya and Katy. I just wish TPTB had spent a little more time getting them there.
