Well, I found out where all the evil promo bastards are hiding. That did not got the way I expected...but then again I am easily manipulated.

I don't exactly know where I stand on this episode, I loved Maya's speech to Riley at the end, it just solidified the importance of that relationship in the BMW/GMW universe to me. It was always important, but this episode, particularly Maya's speech to Riley at the end, cemented it in its place. I loved seeing Reginald VelJohnson on tv again, I'm just glad they didn't have him say something like "well family matters, so we're all going to see what she did".

I did not like Auggie's friend, whose name escapes me at the time. Also how old is he? Why is he walking by a candy store all alone on a daily basis? That really took me out of the show. I'm sure others will have other thoughts that are not coming to me right now.

Loved the focus on Sabrina/Maya of course. And I REALLY liked the message that the Maya they all want her/expect her to be isn't a version of herself that she should be. I love how Maya didn’t actually destroy anything. And I think it proves that she’s better because of Riley, not changing for the worse…

Lucas encouraging Maya = and Lucas’ face was so sad when she said she didn’t know if she liked him anymore and then his “Maya?” was so sad and sweet. Then he called her beautiful. I also loved how he went to look for her. They two of them have a lot in common.

sidenotes:
-I miss Riley's long hair!
-The Farkle/Maya kiss was so cute.
-Lucas was actually really funny this episode, loved his accent.

I thought this episode was pretty boring and slightly annoying.

I didn't even find Maya's identity crisis that believable. I mean, I knew she wasn't going to do anything bad and I still can't figure out why she thought she had to go there either. She's a teenager, it's normal not to know who you are and you DO change and evolve anyway. I found this entire storyline to be pretty stupid. I liked how she was defensive of Riley though, that was sweet.

I do wonder when Maya found the time to hang out with those two idiot girls in the past when she's been attached to Riley forever.

I found Auggie's friend and the stealing candy/toy cars situation to be very lame. So he's been left unattended in NYC to roam around and enter the same candy/toy store and steal candy and toys for one year? WTF, lol.

I thought Katy accusing the kids of stealing the 100 dollars was weird... I mean, why not check, double check, triple check before accusing your daughter and her really decent friends of taking money from you? It felt off and out of character for Katy.

Overall, not a strong episode but I'm glad Maya realized nothing is wrong with her and she's just fine being whoever she wants to be and doesn't have to care what others think.

I got the impression Maya hung out with them at the same time she was friends with Maya but maybe by jr high she stopped.

Well #1, its not Maya who thought she needed to find herself, everyone else was telling her she changed. So yes, its normal to be a teenager and grow but everyone was telling her it wasnt.

And she went to the park because she WAS planning to vandalize but she realized when she got there that she couldn't do it.

I dont see what is so unrealistic about it all?

I also thought it was a way to disprove the theories that Maya was acting like Riley. She wasnt, she was just grown and LEARNING FROM HER.

That is about the only thing I agree with.

I know I'm going to get so much hate for this, but I am so tired of Maya. I know she's like almost everyone's precious angel here, but I can't stand her & I'm getting sick of every single episode/storyline revolving around her. Yeah, Riley had a lot to do with the last couple of episodes, but in the long run, it WAS about Maya for the majority & I hope we start getting back into "Riley's world", which I think we will with GMSki Lodge.

Honestly, I'm still watching this show out of habit now. The "triangle" is getting old & I need more mother/daughter, father/daughter moments, which we've barely gotten this season, if at all.

When did Farkle kiss Maya? I totally missed that. I love how Riley & Lucas were holding hands at the end, though.

I guess I should rephrase my annoyance... I don't blame Maya, I get why she tried to go find herself... everyone was basically telling her she changed...

I blame the writers for coming up with this storyline in the first place... making a big deal out of a teenager actually having an identity crisis... wow, how rare is that. lol /sarcasm

The entire storyline is just stupid... Maya acting like Riley, etc. I am tired of the entire storyline.

For that matter, this triangle sucks rocks and I want it over with. I don't want this show turning into Dawson's Creek and Lucas being Joey Potter all indecisive until the very end. It's just lame.

I like Riley's hair. It makes her look more like a teenager, which she is, instead of a little kid. Reminds me of the hairstyle Topanga had when she cut her hair.

I didnt like Topangas hair either. I just prefer long luscious hair though.

I dont think its ever been Riley world and I am so very thankful for that. And over the last few episodes they've made her very unlikable which saddens me because I used to her love her but shes acting very childish and immature in the whole triangle nonsense and its sad to see. I bet Rowan is like rolling her eyes every time she has to say something dumb.

Obviously I adore Maya so I am so happy shes getting most of the focus. At least with the triangle crap probably not going her way, she still gets the attention rom the writers which i can be thankful for. HOWEVER, I can acknowledge that the show needs to eb more well rounded. I think its more of them now knowing how to writer other characters and not so much that they dont try to. I dont think they even realize how much focus Maya gets over the other characters. Farkle needs an episode. Topanga deserves an episode. Lucas deserves an episode. I would say Zay too but I dont like him that much lol.

I agree agree with that. The whole Maya wants to be Riley was a joke.

And the triangle does need to end, for a show that apparently isn't about a triangle according to the writers, every episode seems to revolve around it. So I'm done listening to what the writers say and instead will just watch how things play out and make my own opinions.

I agree with you about Riley as for all the focus being on Maya I don't blame the writers I blame Disney I mean you know how many times they aired Adventures in Babysitting? or the many times they played Wild Side? too much. I feel like Disney is trying to turn Sabrina into the next Disney Channel It Girl.

as a big fan of sabrina though, i don't have an issue with that.

and people have been saying its because of how outspoken rowan is and that may be true. i dont think its a bad thing whatsoever, the causes she stands for are incredible, however, we all know that disney doesn't like controversy. And some people are just better at "playing the game" so to speak.
