One thing I noticed the other day in Game Night Cory while arguing with Riley about the boys coming to Family Game Night he gestures toward his kitchen table (where Maya is sitting with Topanga, Auggie and Josh) calling them all family as opposed to Lucas and Farkle.

Just one of the many times Cory or Topanga treat Maya as another daughter.
