^ Yeah. That does make me sad. =( All Eric and Cory wanted was for Alan to know that they had more than the one layer to them. By the end of the episode, I think he knew that, and hopefully he made sure he considered both of his sons when he wanted to spend time with them. =)

^ That was great. It was kind of interesting that Alan had to divide his attention between Eric and Cory, but he gave Morgan both sides of himself. =p

^ I see what you mean. That scene with Morgan proved that Alan could be both the fun dad and the intellectual dad, so why did Eric and Cory feel like they were only getting half of him?

I feel like their dynamics were just different, if Cory wanted to have fun with Alan, he could do that & if Eric wanted to have a serious conversation with him, he could do that too - I guess Alan just needed to realize that he needed to balance things out a little more?

^ That makes sense. I like to believe that Alan learned to find that balance with all of his children. I wonder if Amy ever had to deal with something like that, where her children thought that she only gave part of herself to them.

^ I wonder why that was the case. How was Amy able to give her children the same love and attention, and Alan found out that his two oldest children felt that he was only giving them half of himself?

I don't know, can't think of anything we were given on the show that might explain that

^ I guess it's always going to be a mystery.
What was the option that Alan picked that Eric called garbage? __________________
